Forgotten Recollections Remastered – Is it price it? (sincere evaluation)
I'll begin by saying that I purchased the sport at launch and solely now completed it. On the time I paid R$57.99, costly for a cellular recreation, particularly in 2015.
The sport is brief, lasting a most of three hours, and for me that's not an issue. I want one thing brief and intense than unnecessarily stretched out. The story is nice, it has robust concepts and a heavy environment, however the growth is complicated and the ending is irritating. Even so, it's undeniably a fantastic recreation. And it's price remembering: it was made completely for cellular players, launched in 2015, at a time when nearly nobody was making really premium video games on cellular. For that purpose alone it deserves respect.
New Sport+ is solely insane. The devs added new weapons (Negan-style baton from TWD, knife, semi-automatic pistol, SPAS-12), new garments for the protagonist, and even gave some… curious… consideration to the physics of the character's airbags. Am I complaining? In no way. The Remastered model is beautiful. Absurdly well-made textures, nice modeling and property. They added narration to the paperwork and letters, which tremendously helps with immersion. All the pieces is in English — I can't decide the standard of the appearing, however one of many voices clearly appears like AI.
Now the issues. There are sharpening errors which are annoying: mild from one room passing by way of partitions and illuminating one other, and the worst — previous cutscenes merely recycled within the Remastered model. Complete lack of care. Within the credit, greater than 20 folks seem in QA… didn't anybody see that?
The optimization can also be disappointing. I performed on a RedMagic Nova (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Main Version, Adreno 750, 16GB RAM + 16GB digital) and, with graphics at most, the pill reached 47°C. Absurd, much more so for a recreation locked at 30 FPS (which, truthfully, didn't hassle me).
I performed on onerous, with restricted saves, and I extremely advocate it. The stress will increase lots and the sport lastly embraces its survival horror nature. Even with technical issues and questionable selections, Forgotten Recollections Remastered stays probably the most genuine psychological horror experiences on cellular. A recreation with identification, made with ambition, and that proves that cellular may also have critical video games.
(I didn't point out the fight drawback as a result of it is going to spoil the expertise for anybody who performs it)
