I’m within the early levels of a monster-training recreation and I’m deliberately constructing this mission within the open.

This can be a very early alpha, cross-platform, and mobile-first by design. The long-term imaginative and prescient is a modernized tackle the traditional monster-training recreation, however with a variety of spins on it that encourage in-person interplay and revitalize the beforehand solved "method".

My intention is to not clone what already exists, however to supply a singular method, and I'm open to what that appears like.

Already decided:

Creature companionship you carry with you (Tamagotchi-inspired) Conventional monster coaching mechanics as a basis Multiplayer and discoverability deliberate from the beginning New concepts round development, deep customization, gear, and interplay

"However GoodMacAuth, you haven't informed us something!"

That’s intentional! To begin with, this isn’t a business mission for me. I'd a lot slightly work on a mission that many individuals love (versus one which only a few individuals "purchase"). Second, and extra importantly, I don’t need to function in isolation or fake I’ve all of the solutions on this one. I’m a crew of 1 and if I maintain it that approach it'll be lifeless earlier than it even lives. As a substitute I’d prefer to contain people who find themselves serious about:

Observing growth and providing options Offering early suggestions and playtesting Contributing concepts, design perception, and even hands-on assist

My background is strongest in UX/UI, product path, advertising, and mission group. Artwork is well my weakest space, and I’d particularly worth voices or contributions from:

Artists Recreation designers with sturdy system-level pondering Gamers who deeply perceive what makes monster-training video games partaking long-term

My aim right here is to assemble a gaggle of folks that love cell video games and recreation design, and want to contribute significant options/concepts/suggestions to create the dream recreation on this style.

I’ve arrange a Discord to centralize dialogue, doc progress, and share frequent updates.

If this sounds fascinating to you, you’re welcome to hitch!
