Paul WS Anderson is ready to direct a film based mostly of SEGA’s basic online game collection Home of the Useless. The movie will now star Isabela Merced, who has featured in each The Final of Us and Superman, and would be the movie’s lead. The Home of the Useless obtained a movie adaption again in 2003 and it was broadly ridiculed by critics, so let’s hope this one can do the collection some justice. Deadline says that the film is at present a “high SEGA precedence” after the success of the Sonic the Hedgehog films.
Anderson mentioned: “The Home of the Useless is a sport I’ve cherished for a few years, and I’m past thrilled to be bringing this to the large display with such an thrilling expertise as Isabela at its coronary heart. We envisage this as the beginning of a tentpole franchise which may discover the wealthy world and lore that Sega has created over an entire collection of movies.”
